Regulation Authority:
R.I. Gen. Laws §§ 42-128.1-9, 42-14-17 and 42-35-3.
Purpose and Reason:
The purpose of this Regulation is to establish a uniform policy regarding lead poisoning coverage in pre-1978 residential rental property liability insurance and to set forth requirements to assure the availability of insurance coverage for losses and damages caused by lead poisoning.
